Temple & Webster, Australia’s largest online furniture retailer, imagined its first cinematic brand campaign as a work of magical realism: a woman steps through a door in her living room wall and the world begins to answer her. Rugs glide into place. Armchairs change color at a touch. A dining table grows from four seats to eight in a pinch. Working with creative agency jnr. and production company Clockwork Films, the brand captured a nuanced live-action performance in Australia. Then came the defining question: who could take that real performance and build the fantasy around it, frame for frame, furnished with the brand’s own products? Every path led back to the same table, and the vision came home to Ritual Ads.
Our Strategy
THE MAGICAL REALISM PLAYBOOK: FROM PREVIZ TO PORTAL
Guiding a furniture fantasy home.
Ritual Ads served as the production’s map maker and its finishing guide. Before cameras rolled, the Creative Engine, the only platform of its kind that uses generative AI, predictive AI, and emotional intelligence to create transformational cinematic experiences at scale, previsualized every room, transition, and product interaction, frame by frame. When the footage came home, that map became the build plan: the actress’s real performance stayed untouched while the Temple & Webster world grew around her, furnished entirely from the brand’s catalog of over 200,000 products.
Real Performance. Generated World. The protagonist was captured practically on set in Australia by Clockwork Films. Every glance, leap, and pinch-zoom in the finished commercial is hers. The rooms that answer her were built by the Creative Engine around that untouched performance, anchoring the magic in a human being.
Fixed in Prep. The commercial was finished before it was shot. Previsualization locked every environment, camera move, and transition in advance, giving brand, agency, and production a single shared blueprint and eliminating the guesswork that stalls AI pipelines.
The Brand's Real Furniture, to the Frame. Every rug, armchair, pendant light, and table setting in the fantasy world is a real Temple & Webster product. The Creative Engine's full audit trail gave brand and legal teams visibility into every generation, preserving total brand authenticity from previz to final delivery.
The Vision, Guided Home
"Without you guys, this ad is not even going to air. Beyond grateful doesn't even cover it. You've smashed it! Thank you so much."

RITUALIZED RESULTS
Temple & Webster’s first cinematic brand campaign launched nationally in July 2026 across broadcast, CTV, and digital, in 30 and 15 second cuts. The campaign marks the category leader’s shift from pure performance marketing to brand storytelling, built to make Australians search for Temple & Webster by name and carrying its positioning to a national audience: beautiful things at beautiful prices. A commercial that was headed for the shelf instead made it to air, on schedule, indistinguishable from the world first promised in previsualization.
Final Impact
A fantasy WORLD, furnished for real.
From previz to portal to national launch.
What started as a previsualization became the blueprint every partner returned to, and the commercial Australia’s largest online furniture retailer imagined from the start.
